Feels like mid-January.

Whoa whoa racing season is here and programs are in full swing! This past weekend’s biathlon race was super popular; the beloved “critter count” is out on Duck Pond; and the Eastern Cup circuit picks up again this week with races in Waterville, ME.

Thanks to all who came out for the Race for Warmth! Congrats to the juniors who raced at Trials in Lake Placid this past week; good luck to the juniors and GRP who are racing there at Senior Nationals this week; and we’re excited to get our beginner and intermediate masters groups rolling.

Nothing says holiday cheer like 20 pairs of sopping wet ski boots! And double-check the training plan this week as some practices move around a bit with break. Race for Warmth on Saturday!

We have a relatively quiet week this week in terms of organized practices. Hope to see many of you out on the trails anyway!

BKL is up and running, the junior racing scene is starting in earnest, and the Center is hosting IBU Cup Trials for biathlon this week.
